Overview:
Simultaneous Metered Blenders are a small pipeline skidded solution utilizing Micro Motion Coriolis flow meters and controls to dose the correct ratio of components into a header at the same time before discharging for further mixing. With Emerson's best-in-class technology incorporated into your solution, you can save time while producing more.
How it works:
An VP SMB process include three basic steps: (1) Loading raw materials (2) Flushing (3) Pigging
The first step, loading, is transferring the preset matreial into the header line simultaneously. Second, use the rest of basic oil to flush the most residual raw materials from the pipeline to the header line. A pigging system is then typically used to push all liquid in the deader line into the tanks.
